OCTOBER HARVEST MOON Blessing

Storms are brewing around the full moon of October 25 (9:11 PM PT). A rare planetary alignment forms as Venus, the goddess of love, moves retrograde, is consumed by the fire of the sun, and Mercury also turns retrograde. Despite obstacles and challenges, this full moon has a special blessing.

The full moon falls in Ashwini, the first of the 27 Vedic nakshatras. Symbolized by a horse’s head, Ashwini carries the power of initiation, drive, and speed. It’s ruled by the Ashwini Kumaras, the twin physicians of the gods, associated with healing, rejuvenation, and recovery. Ashwini full moon magnifies the healing power of prana, the life energy that animates the body and the world.

In honor of Lakshmi Devi, goddess of wealth and prosperity, this full moon comes with a blessing of abundance and miraculous turn arounds.
