Interiorizar­-se, no momento em que quase tudo o que há no mundo puxa o homem para o exterior, é um trabalho considerável, mas imprescindível. Para fazer o supremo esforço de não nos envolvermos com o supérfluo é que nos convocamos para estar neste planeta, no plano físico, nos momentos críticos pelos quais ele está agora passando."

Before the cyclical moment arrives for the human being to connect with universal laws, he comes to know them theoretically, through the various teachings offered by what are called spiritual schools. Then, once the cycle of absorbing these theories is complete, there emerges from within him the need to fulfill them — the need to truly live them, even if external circumstances and present inner conditions do not support him.

To turn inward, at a time when almost everything in the world pulls the human being outward, is a considerable task, yet an essential one. It is to make the supreme effort of not becoming entangled with the superfluous that we are called to be on this planet, on the physical plane, during the critical times it is now going through.
